New England Vase

$48.00

This vase celebrates the colors and varieties of fall leaves in New England. Going from various shades of green to red, yellow and orange, it’s no wonder leaf peepers flock there every year. The rounded bottom of the vase was shaped into an oval at the top, adding even more interest. It comes with a plastic frog to hold flower stems in place.

Top: 3-1/4” x 2-3/4”
Maximum Diameter: 5”
Bottom Diameter: 3”
Height: 4-1/2”

The changing seasons New Englanders know and love are growing increasingly erratic. Spring is starting earlier, by about a half day per year. Fall is changing, too, influenced significantly by temperature and moisture. Trees that are stressed by environmental conditions tend to lose their leaves earlier and not produce the iconic vibrant colors. Additionally, new pests are taking hold as temperatures warm. This may lead to changes in the makeup of the forests and their ecosystems.
