Creeping Fig Garlic Jar

$48.00

Hand-painted vines of creeping fig trail down the exterior of this garlic jar which is perforated to allow air circulation. The wood lid, of aspen, was painted black to create a contrasting accent to the design below.

Top Diameter: 5-3/8"
Bottom Diameter: 3-3/8"
Height: 3-1/2" jar only, 6-1/2" with lid

Preferring indirect light, creeping fig is a drought-resistant, fast-growing vine, making it the perfect plant for areas with dry climates. It could be trained to climb walls, serve as ground cover, or even made into a topiary. But plan ahead—once it fastens itself to a surface, it’s hard to remove and may damage brick or wood.
