This rustic tree was made from an old, weathered fence post we obtained from a rancher in Wyoming. Full of character, the old, weathered portion has cracks and a fabulous aged look. There’s a wonderful contrast with the newly exposed, freshly turned pine from the interior of the post. Now starting its third life (back to being a tree!), this tree would be a wonderful accent piece for a mantel or table.
Height: 17-1/2”
Bottom Diameter: 3-1/2”
Courtney White was the founder of Quivira Coalition, bringing ranchers and environmentalists together in conversations. While typically antagonistic, the two groups share common ground through their love of the land. By acknowledging their differences but joining in conversation, the two can work through past blowups in their struggles over land use and begin to develop authentic relationships in order to move forward.
