It’s made of olive wood with 24-carat gold-plated hardware. The cap screws on and off both ends of the pen. It includes an upgraded ink cartridge from Germany for very smooth writing.

As Director of the Colorado Avian Research and Rehabilitation Institute, Scott Rashid has spent many hours studying and rehabilitating birds and educating the public about conservation efforts. His many projects involve Northern Pygmy Owls, Northern Saw-whet Owls and Barn Owls. Scott is also an artist and author, having produced several books about birds.
