Caceres Bowl

$32.00

Light and dark intermix beautifully on this small crabapple bowl. Half the rim features a live edge with the tree’s bark serving as a decorative accent. Small bowls can serve so many purposes, holding jewelry, spices for cooking, loose change, keys or any other small objects.

Height: 1-1/2 - 2-1/2”
Top Diameter: 4-1/2”
Bottom Diameter: 3-3/8”

Berta Caceres was a Honduran environmentalist and indigenous leader. She was the Goldman Environmental Prize in 2015 for a grassroots campaign that successfully pressured the world’s largest dam builder to stop plans to construct a dam on the Gualcarque River. The river is sacred to the indigenous Lenca, who depend on it for their subsistence.
